The best and most accurate compliment that I can give Sams fam is..........they could hang with all of us. No drama, they just love each other. We had a great time.

Nervous.....

Tonight I am meeting Sams family for the first time. I am a bundle of nerves which I know is silly and I'm not quite sure why I am THIS wound up about it, but I am. I slept like crap last night thinking about it. Silly, silly girl. I will try to remember my camera sarah. More importantly though I must remember wine. I hope you all are having a wonderful christmas-pig eve!!! I love you!

Ottis has been wanting to sleep on the little girls chair since it became theirs.....last night he finally got his chance. They all slept like this for over an hour. Pretty frigin cute.

I've Got Water!!!!

Yippie! They thawed out my pipes today. I am enjoying using all of the water functions in my house.

....Plumber is here and they are starting the thaw.

The Frozen Tundra.....

....My pipes froze last night.....still no H2O.

yes, that is ice...on the inside. Holy frigin cold. Note to self, buy plastic for the windows today.

Winter is Here

Snow, snow, snow...cold, cold, cold. It got up to 7 degrees today. That, is cold. I forgot how cold my house gets in the winter. It is an uninsulated OLD house with one heater and a wood burning stove. BRRRR........ It tends to make me very grumpy sometimes. Last night all of my windowsa had ice on the inside.....BBBRRRR.
It is a nice home though.
I can't think of anything new going on. All of the dogs are great and I am too.

Hey Strangers.....

Well, I haven't written forever. We are covered in snow out here. It has snowed more in the last week then we usually got in a month. It is beautiful!!!!

Snow

I haven't written for a few days. About a week. We got our first big snow fall the last few days. A couple feet, at least. It is wonderful. Akai is in heaven.
