Football
I have watched more football in the last few days then I have ever watched in my life. I always suspected it was a ridiculous game, but WOW! I have laughed so much listening to the commentators talk about flea flickers and hook-y-dos or what ever. Although I do know what a flea flicker is now. I've learned about AFC and NFC conferences and how they started and why. I haven't even received my book yet. I can't wait. I almost told Sam that I ordered it last night, you all know how much I suck at surprises. I ordered The Idiots Guide To Football, hence mom making her comment the other day on her blog. I want to watch a game with Sam and impress him with all of my knowledge........but mainly I just want him to laugh. I hope it comes today. Then I'll have time to memorize silly factoids. heehee.
Since I'm not taking a class this semester I need to dive into something....football? who would of thunk it. We'll see if I have the attention span for it.
The picture of the dog nose is Puppy(Akai) letting me know that I should be petting her and not playing on the computer. So, off I go. Have a great day all!!!!

What a Beautibul Day
Hey there....It is so lovely out. Sam and I are going to take the dogs for a long walk. Just got back.................BEAUTIFUL!!!!!
So last week Carol and Lyle, Bobos' old owners came for their last visit. It went well. I stood my ground when they asked for another visit blah blah....I told them they could call every once and a while but that that was their last visit. She asked if they could drive by, I said that I couldn't stop her.
Anywho............I got a call a few days ago from the head of animal adoptions in Glenwood Springs. Sue helped all of us when I was getting Bobo. She called my vet, the local shelter and other numbers I gave her to make sure that I was a good dogggie person. So, she called me the other day because Carol was worried about the well being of Bobo. Carol told Sue that Bobo had a HUGE chunk of flesh gone from his back(he got a scrape on his back before he lost weight from the dog door) and that I was not taking good care of him. Sue called my vet, He of course said that Bobo was in great shape and had lost 11 lbs. since I had him and had been in a few times and he was unaware of a large chunk of flesh off his back. I spoke with Sue for a while and told her how rude Carol had been and that she had in fact chosen TWICE to get rid of her 15 yr old unadoptable poodle and keep her 3 yr old healthy cat. No sympathy here. HOLY CRAP!! Carol is an idiot. Today I am blocking her number on my phone and she will never again get an update on MY dog Bobo.

Coincidence...Oh I think Not
What a big day yesterday was. I woke up feeling confident and annoyed. Annoyed that I had let people bully me around for the last 6 months. I swear its like a fog cleared. I called Carol, Bobos' old owner and told her that her next visit on the 17th would be her last. I told her how terrible she had made me feel and that it was in Bobos best interest that they no longer come. She started to cry. I did not back down. I wasn't rude at all, I just stayed in control. I hung up with her and called the bitchy women at the offices I clean. They call me every other week or so to tell me how much I suck. So, I left them a message telling them that I do not suck and that actually since I have started more things get fixed and that their windows get cleaned now ...blah blah. I also said that I felt like we had gotten off on the wrong foot(feet) and couldn't we please start over?
That was just my morning. Sam and I went to the animal shelter in the afternoon...steph had told me about a chihuahua/pug mix that would be an "A" teamer but SO cute. She was right, adorable. But, I thought about it and decided no. Thats right, I thought something through. But, we found the perfect dog for Sam.....his name is Yeller. He is a beautiful, sweet hound. We are going to get him today. Akai is coming with, just to make sure they will get along. Such a big day...............Oh but there is more. Got home, went to my dog sitting job...noticed that one of my baby teeth that has been loose since the eighth grade was all of the sudden VERY loose. I pulled the sucker right out with little effort. I truly am growing up. heehheeee
